Help 1,000 Girls Manage Their Periods with Dignity.
Every Girl Deserves Dignity
For many girls in rural and underserved communities, managing their period is a monthly struggle. Limited access to sanitary products and accurate menstrual health information can affect their confidence, health, and education.
At Centre for Development, Health and Rights (CEDHAR), we believe that no girl should miss opportunities simply because of her period. Through our PAD Project, we provide menstrual health education, sanitary products, and practical support to help girls manage their periods with dignity and confidence.
Our Impact So Far
Thanks to the generosity of supporters and partners, we have already reached 220 girls in Government Secondary School, Nyanya Gwandara, and Aso A, Nyanya, Nasarawa State.
During our outreach, we distributed 100 sanitary pad packs and provided comprehensive menstrual health education covering:
Menstrual hygiene management Menstrual cycle tracking Proper use and disposal of sanitary pads Building confidence and reducing stigma around menstruation
These interventions are helping girls stay healthy, informed, and engaged in their education.
Help Us Reach 1,000 Girls
While we are proud of the progress made so far, many more girls still need support.
Our goal is to reach over 1,000 girls with menstrual health education and essential menstrual hygiene supplies. With your support, we can extend our outreach to more schools and communities across Nigeria, ensuring that more girls have the resources they need to thrive.
